A rare and exceptional Bitossi vase by Aldo Londi, produced exclusively for the American market via importer Raymor in the 1950s. The Frite (fused glass) decor is among the most technically complex and visually striking of all Bitossi finishes — molten glass fragments are fused directly into the ceramic surface during firing, creating a uniquely textured, luminous effect.

Frite pieces were made solely for export to the US market, making them genuinely rare on this side of the Atlantic. A serious collector's piece.
