Vintage Bitossi Aldo Londi Seta Ceramic Vase | 1950s Italian Studio Pottery

A beautiful Bitossi vase by Aldo Londi in the elegant Seta (Silk) décor, produced in the 1950s. The Seta glaze is one of Londi's most refined and tactile finishes — its delicate, silken texture rewards close inspection and stands apart from the bolder, more graphic treatments for which Bitossi is perhaps better known.

At 30cm, Shape 475 is the smaller of the two Seta examples available — a more intimate scale that makes it ideal for a shelf or cabinet display. A complementary piece to the larger 36cm Seta example, or a quietly beautiful standalone acquisition.
