Vintage Ugo Zaccagnini & Sons Male and Female Buddha Pair | 1960s Italian Ceramic Figurines

A rare and beautifully matched pair of male and female Buddha figurines by Ugo Zaccagnini & Sons, dating from the 1950s–60s. Zaccagnini was one of Florence's most distinguished ceramic studios, producing work of exceptional quality and artistry that is increasingly sought after by collectors of Italian mid-century decorative arts.

Pairs are always more desirable than single examples — and a matched male and female pair of this quality is virtually impossible to find in Europe. These were acquired in 2009 and have been treasured ever since. A once-in-a-generation opportunity for the serious collector.
